Blogger's Block

I have seriously been sitting in my bed in front of the laptop for thirty minutes now trying to come up with a blog topic.  This is probably one of the hardest times I have ever had on any homework assignment. I usually can pull together something to write about but this time I’m drawling a complete blank.  I can’t piece a single thing together.  I have the biggest case of blogger’s block ever.

I have even resorted to looking on the internet for some to write about.  I just typed in Google “What to blog about.” You can find the link at the bottom of the page if you’re ever in the same situation as me.  I thought it was a pretty good site but I still couldn’t think of anything.

After trying to find something on the internet I needed to find a new way to write a blog.  So I tried to see if I could maybe get some ideas by reading some other people blogs.  After reading a couple I tried to write a blog about the crazy weather changes but I couldn’t even get one hundred words, which was ridiculous on my part.  So then I thought that I might be able to write a blog about my weekend.  And again it turned out to be an extremely shot blog again.

After all of these attempts I was very frustrated and still couldn’t think of a single thing to blog about.  I almost gave up and I was just about to write it tomorrow morning until the idea popped into my head to write about my little journey about finding a good blog topic.  So I was like why not just try to write about that.  And here I am almost three hundred words later satisfied with myself in finally getting my topic figured out. But anyway here is that link.   http://onlinejournalismblog.com/2009/02/04/starting-a-blog-12-ideas-for-blog-posts/

  2. Sounds like you have hard time thinking about what to blog about. You should try blogging about you day like explaining every little detail. Like if something really gets you going.

  3. Everyone will probably have bloggers block at least once. I'm happy to say I haven't had it yet. If you need something to blog about for next week you could always describe your kitchen and how much you love it. That or you could always do what Alex said and describe your day until you reach 300 words.

  4. When you start blogging just blog about something that is interesting to you, who cares about what you blog about. If you like sports than blog about or if you are like me and like racing then just start talking about it.

  6. That happens to a lot of people, especially if one is not used to blogging a lot. Just blog about things you're passionate about and they usually turn out just fine.
